A 2016 UK £2 coin issued by The Royal Mint to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London, which began in Pudding Lane in September 1666.
The reverse features a dramatic view of the flames spreading across the rooftops of seventeenth-century London, with the River Thames in the foreground. The edge inscription reads “THE WHOLE CITY IN DREADFUL FLAMES”, taken from the diary of Samuel Pepys.
