The 1997 £1 coin cover, titled “The Great Tudors,” is a Royal Mail first day cover. It commemorates King Henry VIII and his wives, featuring a brilliant uncirculated one-pound coin from the Royal Mint and Royal Mail stamps depicting all of King Henry VIII’s wives and the Tudor monarch. The coin itself bears the image of three lions. It carries a cancelled postmark from Edenbridge on the 28th of January 1997, celebrating Henry VIII and his six wives.
