2015 Britannia £2 Circulated Coin

ETH7.00

A 2015 UK £2 coin issued by The Royal Mint featuring Britannia, the historic female personification of Britain, appearing on a circulating British £2 coin for the first time.

The reverse, designed by Antony Dufort, depicts Britannia standing beside a globe while holding her traditional trident and shield. The edge inscription reads “QUATUOR MARIA VINDICO”, meaning “I claim the four seas”.

A distinctive modern issue celebrating one of Britain’s most recognisable national symbols and a popular addition to a collection of UK £2 coins.

This example is in circulated condition and may display general signs of handling, marks and wear consistent with circulation.
