2016 Battle Of Hastings 50p Circulated Coin

£3.00

A 2016 UK 50p coin issued by The Royal Mint to commemorate the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, fought on 14 October 1066.

The reverse design, created by John Bergdahl and inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, depicts King Harold with an arrow in his eye. The inscription “BATTLE OF HASTINGS 1066” appears around the design.

An interesting commemorative issue marking one of the most significant events in English history and a great addition to a collection of modern British 50p coins.

This example is in circulated condition and may display general signs of handling, marks and wear consistent with circulation.
