The 1995 50th Anniversary of the United Nations Silver Proof £2 Coin is a distinguished commemorative issue from The Royal Mint, marking the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. Issued to celebrate five decades of international cooperation, peacekeeping and humanitarian efforts, this beautifully struck silver proof coin is an important addition to any collection of modern British commemoratives.

The reverse design, created by Michael Rizzello, features a symbolic representation of fifty interlocking links, reflecting the unity and cooperation of the member nations of the United Nations.
